Tengrinews.kz – President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, has arrived at the Reception Palace in Dushanbe.
"The head of state has arrived at the Reception Palace in Dushanbe to participate in the 'Central Asia – Russia' summit," the report states.
Tokayev was welcomed by the President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon.
It is worth noting that President Tokayev arrived in Dushanbe today, October 9. He was greeted at the international airport by Tajikistan's Prime Minister, Kohir Rasulzoda.
Later, Tokayev held a meeting with President Rahmon. The two presidents reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to further strengthening the strategic partnership and alliance between Kazakhstan and Tajikistan.
Additionally, President Tokayev is scheduled to attend the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the CIS on October 10.
