Kazakhstan President has once again stressed the importance of holding EXPO-2017 in Astana during his today's meeting with Akims (Mayors and Governors) of Kazakhstan, Tengrinews.kz reports. “I think Kazakhstan residents have not yet fully realized the importance of holding EXPO-2017. This is Kazakhstan’s biggest international achievement over the years of independence. Everything that will be built will stay in the country. The facilities will become laboratories and a scientific park that will help implement new technologies all over Kazakhstan. The whole world will stick to this path, that’s why I would like to emphasize its importance. The whole world will be talking about Kazakhstan in the nearest 5 years. The very fact that Kazakhstan will host the exhibition is important for our country. The best achievements of science and technology will be represented in our capital and many Kazakhstan residents will be able to eyewitness the economy of the future. The EXPO has to become our mega-project and should be made beneficial for every region (of Kazakhstan). This will significantly boost innovative development of our country,” Nazarbayev said.
