President of Switzerland Didier Burkhalter will pay an official visit to Kazakhstan, Tengrinews reports citing the official website of Kazakhstan’s President Nursultan Nazarbayev.

President of Switzerland Didier Burkhalter will pay an official visit to Kazakhstan, Tengrinews reports citing the official website of Kazakhstan’s President Nursultan Nazarbayev.

Didier Burkhalter will arrive to Kazakhstan on November 20. Kazakhstan’s President Nursultan Nazarbayev will have a meeting with Swiss President, where the heads of the two states will discuss strengthening of the Kazakh-Swiss relations in all the areas of cooperation, focusing on trade, investments, cultural and humanitarian cooperation.

Didier Burkhalter is the current OSCE Chairman-in-office, and given Kazakhstan’s experience of chairmanship in OSCE, the sides are expected to exchange their views on key areas of the organization’s current activities.
