One of Astana's streets will be named after Hussein bin Talal, farther of the current King of Jordan. Nursultan Nazarbayev announced this decision to Abdallah II bin Hussein, King of Jordan, during a telephone conversation, Tengrinews.kz reports, referring to the President's of Kazakhstan press-office. “The Head of the State congratulated the King of Jordan on his 50th jubilee and announced his decision to name one of Astana's streets after Hussein bin Talal, farther of the current King of Jordan,” the press-release reads. “The parties also discussed the status and prospects of bilateral relations and the situation in the Middle East during the call.” Nazarbayev invited the King Abdallah II to take part in the fourth World and Traditional Religions Congress that will be held in Astana on May 30-31, 2012. The King of Jordan accepted the invitation.
