Kazakhstan Prime-Minister Serik Akhmetov met with Foreign Minister of France Laurent Fabius, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the Prime-Minister’s press-service. During the meeting with French business delegation the parties exchanged opinions on further enhancement of bilateral Kazakhstan-French relations in trade, economy and investments, the press-service wrote. Calling France “a key political and economic partner in Europe”, Akhmetov expressed “interest in development of a dialog in all sectors and at all levels”. “I am confident that such meetings will expand our contacts. There is a dialog between our countries in all sectors of economic cooperation and its development potential is huge,” the PM stressed. The speakers noted that cooperation in oil and gas, construction, energy, transport and investment sectors are developing quite successfully. Besides, French Foreign Minister thanked Kazakhstan for a constructive discussion of current issues of the bilateral cooperation. Kazakhstan party was represented at the meeting by heads of the central executive bodies, while French delegation included the representatives of Total, Alstom, Eurocopter, Thales.
