Serik Akhmetov is discussing trade and economics with Angela Merkel, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the press-service of Kazakhstan Prime-Minister. “On October 24-25 Kazakhstan Prime-Minister Serik Akhmetov is on a visit to Germany under President Nursultan Nazarbayev’s instructions. The visit includes Kazakhstan Prime-Minister’s meetings with Germany’s leaders, Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel and Vice-Chancellor and Minister of Economics and Technology Philipp Rösler,” the message states. The visit’s agenda includes a wide range of issues related to development of bilateral relations in trade and economic cooperation, modernization of Kazakhstan’s economy and industrialization. Prime-Minister will also meet with the representatives of German business rounds to discuss Kazakhstan-German cooperation in the industrial, investment and financial sectors. Besides, head of Kazakhstan government will meet with the chairman of the Eastern Committee of German Economy Eckhard Kordes and take part in the official events timed to 60th anniversary of the organization.
