Secretary General of International Exhibitions Bureau to visit Astana

Secretary General of the International Exhibitions Bureau Vicente Loscertales will render a visit to Astana on January 15-17, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the official representative of Kazakhstan President’s Central Communications Service Altai Abibullayev.During the visit Loscertales will meet with President Nursultan Nazarbayev, Prime-Minister Serik Akhmetov, his deputy Kairat Kelimbetov, Foreign Minister Yerlan Idrissov and Astana Akim (Mayor) Imangali Tasmagambetov.“The purpose of the visit is to discuss organization and holding of EXPO-2017 in Astana, as well as a joint check into preparation of the events,” Abibullayev said.He also said that Serik Akhmetov held a government meeting on January 15 to discuss the course of preparation for EXPO-2017 in Astana.By Renat Tashkinbayev
