A video of the meeting was published by Akorda. Addressing the Head of State, the Tokyo governor said: “Qosh keldiniz!” (“Welcome!”).

Earlier, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a meeting with Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike. Following the talks, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the capitals of Kazakhstan and Japan.
