Putin shared his satisfaction with the outcomes of his visit.
"We held detailed discussions on a wide range of bilateral cooperation in political, economic, and humanitarian areas. We also exchanged views on pressing regional and international issues. The newly signed Joint Statement sets ambitious goals for further deepening the strategic partnership between our two countries. These goals will be supported by the numerous intergovernmental and interagency agreements covering diverse areas of cooperation, from energy and transportation to healthcare and justice," Putin stated during a press briefing.
Putin emphasized that this visit and the discussions will effectively contribute to advancing the multifaceted Russian-Kazakh partnership.
Previously, Russian President Putin arrived in Astana for a state visit. He held talks with Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
Additionally, on November 28, Astana will host the next CSTO Security Council session, chaired by Tokayev. Delegations from member states will discuss pressing regional and international security issues, with several key documents expected to be signed.
