Nursultan Nazarbayev met with Prime-Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban, Tengrinews.kz reports citing Kazakhstan President’s press-service. Nazarbayev stressed that the relations between Kazakhs and Hungarians have always been very good historically. “We welcome your intentions to raise the relations between two two countries to a new height. Hungary supports Kazakhstan’s initiatives; your president took part in the OSCE Summit in Astana. Today you have had a meeting with Kazakhstan Prime-Minister and also an inter-government meeting. I am sure you have agreed on concrete steps in our relations. I will personally support these processes,” Kazakhstan President said. “We prioritize those historical and cultural ties that unite our people. I am delighted with Kazakhstan’s capital. This city is a symbol of the humanity's transition to a new development stage. Besides, while the major part of the world is in a crisis, your country keeps going forward,” Prime-Minister of Hungary said. Viktor Orban arrived in Astana with representatives of around 50 Hungarian companies that expressed their preparedness for cooperation with Kazakhstan partners in different sectors, from agriculture to construction.
