Presidents of Kazakhstan and Vietnam held negotiations in Hanoi, Tengrinews.kz reports. An extended meeting was held in President Truong Tan Sang’s Palace. “We see kind hospitality here; both of our countries have demonstrated good development progress within a short time,” Nursultan Nazarbayev noted addressing the Vietnamese party. “We have similar positions in political and economic development, right now we have an opportunity to improve our trade and economic relations,” Kazakhstan President said. President of Vietnam thanked Nazarbayev for his visit to Hanoi. “This is your first visit to our country and we consider it very important for development of the relations between our countries in different areas,” Truong Tan Sang said. It is expected that the following documents will be signed in Vietnamese capital on October 31: Agreement between Kazakhstan and Vietnam on mutual legal aid on civil and commercial affairs, Agreement between governments of Kazakhstan and Vietnam on avoiding double taxation, Agreement between Kazakhstan Ministry of Transport and Communications and Vietnamese Ministry of Transport on cooperation in civil aviation, Memorandum of understanding between Almaty city administration and Ho Chi Minh people’s commission, agreements on cooperation in tourism.
