Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev will meet with Finland’s President Sauli Niinisto, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the official representative of Central Communications Service Altai Abibullayev. “According to President’s press-service, Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev will meet with Finland President Sauli Niinistö arriving to our country with the first visit,” Abibullayev said at the briefing. The Presidents are planning to discuss the status and prospects of Kazakhstan-Finnish relations and review a broad range of regional and international issues, he added. “The leaders of the two countries will hold bilateral talks and take part in the Kazakhstan-Finnish forum on green economy and modernization. They will discuss implementation of innovative and environmentally-friendly Finnish technologies to our country,” Abibullayev said. He also said that Kazakhstan and Finnish officials will take part in the mining forum Minex Central Asia on April 17-18 to discuss investment attractiveness of Kazakhstan in the mining and attraction of investments for development of mineral deposits in the region.
