Kazakhstan’s PM Karim Massimov has arrived in St. Petersburg to attend sittings of the Council of CIS Heads of Governments, the Interstate Council of the Eurasian Economic Space and the supreme body of the Customs Union, the PM’s website reports. The sitting of the Council of CIS Heads of Governments will focus on drafting a new Agreement on free trade zone, an action plan to implement the 2nd stage (2012-2015) of the CIS Strategy of Economic Development. The Interstate Council of the Eurasian Economic Space will dwell on joint measures of the EurAsEC member states to overcome repercussions of the global economic crisis and on launching a EurAsEC court. Heads of Customs Union member states’ government delegations will discuss international agreements forming the Common Economic Space of Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus.
