The Parliament of Kazakhstan has voted for ratification of the EurAsEc Economic Commission Treaty, Tengrinews.kz reports. The Treaty was signed in Moscow on November 18, 2011 in order to establish a Commission as the Customs Union's and Common Economic Space's permanent regulatory body. The goal of the body is to create conditions for the Customs Union's and Common Economic Space's development and functioning. The Commission will be working out proposals for economic integration as well. Presidents of the three countries also discussed the Customs Union's activities in the November meeting. Special emphasis was made on joint effort for transition to the next integration stage: the Eurasian Economic Union. The issues of supranational bodies’ development for managing the integration processes were also considered at the presidential meeting.
