Pakistani Prime Minister arrives in Astana

Astana, Tengrinews.kz - Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif has arrived in Astana to participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit.

Astana, Tengrinews.kz - Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif has arrived in Astana to participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit.

Upon his arrival at the capital's airport, he was welcomed by Kazakhstan's Prime Minister, Olzhas Bektenov.

Kazakhstan and Pakistan continue to enhance their cooperation within various organizations, as well as through bilateral trade, economic, transport, logistics, and humanitarian partnerships. Promising areas of collaboration also include the IT industry and the financial sector.

Previously, the presidents of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, Mongolia, Ukhnaa Khurelsukh, and Russia, Vladimir Putin, also arrived in Astana for the SCO summit.

Meanwhile, UN Secretary-General António Guterres has arrived in Almaty.
