Orynbayev discussed scientific-technical cooperation in U.S.

Deputy Prime-Minister of Kazakhstan Yerbol Orynbayev discussed scientific-and-technical cooperation during his visit to Denver and Pittsburg, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the press-service of Kazakhstan Foreign Ministry. According to the Ministry, Orynbayev visited the cities in Colorado and Pennsylvania states as the head of Kazakhstan delegation of representatives of Healthcare Ministry, Nazarbayev University, Kasipkor Holding and National Medical Holding. In Denver Orynbayev met with the management and the professors of Colorado Mining University specializing in engineering and applied science. The visit was intended to help create an international education program in oil production, geology and geophysics in Nazarbayev University. The parties also agreed to cooperate in technical education between Kasipkor Holding and American Councils. In Pittsburg Orynbayev met with president and chief managing director of the Medical Center of Pittsburg University (UPMC) J.Romov. “Orynbayev also visited the Regional Oncological Hospital (a joint venture of the Cancer Center and a non-commercial medical holding Excela Health) and Hillman Oncology Center, one of the leading UPMC hospitals, where the delegation was introduced to the advanced infrastructure and current activities of the medical facilities,” the press-service writes.
