Salaries of school teachers are set to grow by up to 100% in the nearest five years, a Tengrinews.kz journalist reports from the XIV congress of the Nur Otan political party.
“Salaries of school teachers will grow by 30-100% depending on the qualifications. Smallest pensions will reach 60% of subsistence level by 2017”, Chairman of the party announced when unveiling the national plan of development up to 2017.
President Nursultan Nazarbayev announced that 300 new medical laboratories and 50 polyclinics will add to the national healthcare system. “Emergency medical teams employing medical aircraft will be launched in all country’s regions. Child mortality rate is to be reduced 1.5 times by 2017. In the realm of education we need to introduce an effective system of saving schemes for education purposes. Over 3 000 new kindergartens and child care centers will be launched in the following 5 years”, President Nazarbayev said.
He also instructed to ensure 90% of all educational facilities have an access to the Internet by 2017.
