Tengrinews.kz – President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev raised concerns about the lack of a culture of conserving natural resources, particularly water, in Kazakhstan. The Head of State addressed the issue during his annual Address to the Nation.

“We have to admit, there are serious problems here. As the saying goes, nothing has been done yet. This must become a separate area of public awareness and even ideological work, especially among the younger generation,” Tokayev said.

According to the President, Kazakhstan is already facing a shortage of natural water, while the culture of consumption “leaves much to be desired”.
