Kazakhstan has appointed a new Minister of Transport and Communications, Tengrinews reports citing the press office of Akorda. President Nursultan Nazarbayev has appointed Zhenis Khasymbek the new Minister of Transport and Communications. The former Minister Askar Zhumagalive has transferred to another position. Zhenis Kasymbekov had worked as Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Transport and Communications. He has been working at the Ministry since 1999. He was awarded with a number of medals for his diligent work. The Ministry of Transport and Communications manages transportation, communication, information and coordination of Public Service Centers. In addition the Ministry is responsible for coordination between the country's major industries.
