A new chief of staff of the Majilis (Lower Chamber of the Parliament) has been appointed, Tengrinews.kz reports citing Majilis’ press-service. “The meeting of the Majilis Bureau chaired by Majilis speaker Nurlan Nigmatulin has been held today. Nurlan Nigmatulin introduced the new Majilis chief of staff Ussen Zhetenov,” the message states. Prior to this appointment Ussen Zhetenov worked as a member of Kazakhstan Central Election Commission. In 2004-2005 he worked as State Inspector of the State Inspection of the Department of Organizational-and-Control Work and Personnel Policy of Kazakhstan Presidential Administration and then as State Inspector of the Department of State Control and Organizational Work of the Presidential Administration. In 2008 he served as State Inspector in the Presidential Administration.
