A new ambassador of Kazakhstan to South Korea has been appointed, Tengrinews.kz reports referring to the press service of the President. On January 27 President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev appointed Dulat Bakishev Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to South Korea. He replaced Darkhan Berdaliev. Bakishev used to be Ambassador to South Korea previously – between 2006 and 2008. “By the decree of the Head of the State Alisher Pirmetov was appointed Secretary of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Sports and Physical Culture, and was relieved of his duties as secretary of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Kairat Absattarov was relieved of his duties as secretary of the Ministry of Communications and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan due to transfer to another position,” the presidential press service reported other appointments.
