President Nursultan Nazarbayev has appointed Sergey Nurtayev the new Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Italy, Tengrinews reports citing the presidential press office.
"Sergey Nurtayev has been appointed the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Italy by a presidential decree. Nurtayev had been relieved from his duties as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Greece," the press office said.
The former Ambassador in Italy Andrian Yelemessov was relieved of his duty and assigned as the Ambassador in Mexico.
Nurtayev graduated from Al Farabi Kazakh State University in 1998 with a degree in law. He finished studies at the Russian Academy of Public Service in 2007. Sergey Nurtayev has been working in the diplomatic corps since 2002. He was the General Consul of Kazakhstan in Saint Petersburg. Since 2007, Nurtayev has worked as the Ambassador of Kazakhstan in Greece.
