Nazarbayev told about his intention to speak with the new President of France, Tengrinews.kz reports citing Kazakhstan President’s press-service. “I am planning to speak with you in the nearest time at the personal meeting on development of further cooperation between France and Kazakhstan,” Nursultan Nazarbayev said in his congratulatory telegram sent to Francois Hollande in relation to his victory in the elections. “This year Kazakhstan and France are celebrating the 20th anniversary of equal-right, profitable and comprehensive cooperation. At the dawn of our independence French President Francois Mitterand was among the first Western leaders to render an official visit to Kazakhstan. France, along with other nuclear states that provided security guarantees to Kazakhstan, constantly supports our country. The relations between the two countries have reached a high level: the level of strategic partnership,” Kazakhstan President wrote. He wished Hollande a grand success and luck at his work at this high position. Nazarbayev also wished the French people prosperity and further progress.
