Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev has thanked Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko for supporting the country's accession into the WTO, Tengrinews reports citing the press office of Akorda.

During a phone conversation initiated by the Ukrainian side on June 20, the two leaders discussed bilateral cooperation between Kazakhstan and Ukraine.

They also expressed hope that the work of the joint Kazakh-Ukrainian intergovernmental commission for economic cooperation at its forthcoming meeting would be successful.

Besides, Nazarbayev and Poroshenko discussed the forthcoming visit of Petro Poroshenko to Astana, which is scheduled for the second part of this year.
