Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev met with President of the Czech Republic Vaclav Klaus, Tengrinews.kz reports citing Kazakhstan President’s press-service. The parties talked about results of cooperation over the past 20 years, discussed economic, investment, scientific-technological and cultural-humanitarian interaction. The Presidents also exchanged their opinions on the current issues of the international agenda and multilateral initiatives. “The President also signed the Honorary Guests Book of the Prague Castle, where he expressed his confidence in further enhancement of Kazakhstan-Czech relations and congratulated Czech people on the national holiday, the Day of establishment of the Czechoslovak Republic,” the press-service writes. Nursultan Nazarbayev arrived in the Czech Republic on October 23. “The visit's agenda includes meetings of President Nazarbayev with the leaders of the Czech Republic, as well as his participation in the opening of Kazakhstan-Czech business forum,” the press-service states. Earlier Nursultan Nazarbayev rendered an official visit to Austria where he met with the Federal President Heinz Fischer and took part in the business forum.
