Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev has made several appointments, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the President’s press-service. The President released from duties deputy Defense Minister Talgat Zhanzhumenov, Air Defense Forces Commander-in-Chief Aleksander Sorokin, commander of Astana Regional Command Muslim Altynbayev. They will be transferred to other jobs. Meanwhile, the President appointed Yerzhan Ashikbayev head of the Foreign Policy Center in the Presidential Administration, Aidarbek Abdulov deputy command of the National Guard, Okas Saparov deputy Defense Minister, Nurlan Ormanbetov Air Defense Forces Commander-in-Chief, Sultan Kamaletdinov commander of Astana Regional Command.
