Nursultan Nazarbayev has distributed authorities among Kazakhstan's Vice-PMs at the meeting dedicated to summarizing results of 2012 and specifying the course of implementation of the Strategy-2050, Tengrinews.kz reports. “Reshuffles have been made in the government. Bakytzhan Sagintayev was appointed new Vice-PM and Minister of Regional Development. He will supervise operating management of the economy, regional policies, demography, migration, social and labor issues, development of housing and utilities infrastructure, ecology, agricultural industries, and development of entrepreneurship. Big tasks have been set in front of him,” Kazakhstan President said. “The next Vice-PM Kelimbetov will deal with integration, international and economic relations, supervise the macroeconomy, trade, budget, tax and customs policies, financial sector and management of state assets and state-private partnership,” Nazarbayev continued. The authorities of Vice-PM Yerbol Orynbayev will remain unchanged. He will continue dealing with development of the social sector, implementation of the administrative reform and lowering barriers for businesses. “Vice-PM and Minister of Industry and New Technologies Asset Issekeshev will deal with implementation of the State Program of Accelerated Industrial-Innovative Development, technical regulation, local content, subsoil use, geology, attraction of investments,” Nazarbayev added.
