Nazarbayev discusses cooperation with Tajik President Rakhmon

President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has met with Tajik President Emomalli Rakhmon in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, Tengrinews reports citing the press office of Akorda.

During the meeting, Nazarbayev and Rakhmon discussed key aspects of cooperation in trade, economy, investments, cultural and humanitarian spheres. Nursultan Nazarbayev said that "Tajikistan is an important partner of the country and Kazakhstan is always ready to render support to the neighbors,” the press office reported.

The presidents also considered issues related to cooperation in regional and international organisations and exchanged opinion concerning key international issues.

President of Kazakhstan arrived to Dushanbe to take part in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit.
