Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev met with Chief Executive Officer of Shell Peter Voser, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the President’s press-service. “The company is Kazakhstan’s important partner in development of a range of oil and gas fields with Kashagan being the biggest of them. We need to discuss further development of this field and the company’s prospects in our country,” Nursultan Nazarbayev said. President noted that Shell is one of the most significant investors of Kazakhstan oil and gas sector. Voser thanked President for the meeting and stressed that this was his first visit to Kazakhstan’s capital Astana. “Our company is successfully working in Kazakhstan and we hope for further mutually beneficial cooperation,” he noted. Peter Voser congratulated Nursultan Nazarbayev and Kazakhstan people on Astana winning the right to hold the international exhibition EXPO-2017.
