Nazarbayev has created a new UN, Tengrinews.kz reports citing Sephardi Chief Rabbi of Israel Shlomo Moshe Amar as saying at the 4th Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions. “Great President Nursultan Nazarbayev has created a new Organization of the United Nations. But this organization unites not only people, but also the religions and the people practicing different religions and meanings, different opinions, different cultural approaches and different lifestyles, because the great President has managed to gather such unexpected and such a different people at one table. And these people are sitting, speaking and listening to each other. This gives hope for a peaceful world. Even if people disagree with each other, they can at least listen to each other,” Shlomo Moshe Amar said. He added that differences between the religions are not that significant and are tiny compared to the accord and the commonness in the views of different confessions. “The disputed elements should not be the causes for hatred, as one has to be able to break the barriers and walls dividing us, break all the obstructions hindering the common property dialog.” According to Sephardi Chief Rabbi, Kazakhstan people managed to succeed in that. “And this is an important example for the humanity. This is the lighthouse, the guiding star showing everyone how to live and establish inter-confessional peace. All the religious leaders have to follow this example, no matter where they live and what religions they preach,” he stated. By Aidana Ussupova
