Nazarbayev awarded Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov with Dostyk decoration of the 1st grade, Tengrinews.kz reports citing Kazakhstan President’s press-service. “Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev awarded Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov with Dostyk 1st grade decoration,” the press-service writes. Kazakhstan President held a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister during the anniversary session of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA). President noted the importance of the coming Forum of interregional cooperation of Kazakhstan and Russia in enhancement of partnership and friendship between the two countries. “The meeting covered economic cooperation in different areas. The parties discussed Russia’s support in the talks on Kazakhstan’s entrance into the WTO and the prospects of signing of a range of bilateral documents for enhancement of good neighborliness between the two countries,” the press-service states. Kazakhstan President also held bilateral meetings with other participants of the Ministers’ meeting of CICA. He met with Iranian Foreign Minister Ali-Akbar Salehi, Palestinian Foreign minister Riyad al-Maliki, Secretary General of OSCE Lamberto Zannier and UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan.
