Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev has appointed new Senate deputies, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the President’s press-service. “Based on clause 2 Article 50 of the Constitution of Kazakhstan, I herewith appoint Barganym Aitimova, Askar Beissenbayev, Sergei Gromov, Lyazzat Kiinov, Georgiy Kim, Dulat Kustavletov, Serik Nugerbekov, Nurlan Orazalin deputies of the Kazakhstan Senate,” the message states. According to the press-service, the decree comes in effect on the date of signing. After the appointment Nazarbayev held a meeting with the newly appointed senators. “As several of the appointed Senators finished their terms, I have invited you here to declare your appointment as Senate deputies. I consider you well-deserves candidates with sufficient experience for the work in the new area,” the Kazakhstan President stressed. The President noted the importance of the new job that required detailed study of submitted draft laws and ability to find solution to constructive discussions and always stand up for protection of the country’s interests. The newly-appointed deputies thanked the President for his trust and assured him that they would take active participation in the Senate’s legislative activities aimed for improvement of the standards of living of the people of Kazakhstan.
