Andrey Lukin was appointed first deputy chairman of Kazakhstan Agency for Countering Economic and Corruption Crimes (financial police) by the President’s decree, the press-service of the President writes. Aivar Bodanov and Marat Akhmetzhanov were also appointed deputy chairmen of financial police. The latter was released from the position of the chairman of the Commission for Legal Statistics and Special Calculations of the General Prosecutor’s Office. Earlier Tengrinews.kz English reported that Rashid Tusupbekov was appointed chairman of the Agency. Earlier he worked as Kazakhstan Minister of Justice. Tusupbekov replaced former chairman of the Agency Kairat Kozhamzharov who was appointed Akim (Governor) of Akmolinskaya oblast.
