Nursultan Nazarbayev has signed decrees appointing Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Italy Andrian Yelemessov Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Malta and San-Marino in combination, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the President’s press-service. The President also appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Israel Bolat Nurgaliyev to combine the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Cyprus. Lately Malta in Kazakhstan has been largely associated with the name of Rakhat Aliyev who allegedly hides there from Kazakhstan justice. Earlier former Prime-Minister of Kazakhstan Akezhan Kazhegeldin applied to Maltese court with a complaint against nonfeasance of Maltese police that refused to investigate allegations against Rakhat Aliyev.
