Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev and Director General of the World Trade Organization (WTO) Robert Azevedo have discussed Kazakhstan’s accession into the WTO, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the President’s press-service. The meeting was held in the framework of the G20 summit. “The meeting covered Kazakhstan’s accession into the WTO and the progress insigning the required documents. Nazarbayev updated the WTO Director General on the progress in negotiations with Kazakhstan's leading trade partners: the European Union and the United States,” the message states. Azevedo spoke about successful joint work on Kazakhstan’s accession into the WTO and assured Nazarbayev that he would attached all the efforts to make the country a member of the Organization.
