Young people in Kazakhstan have to be explained that there are hateful people who do not like the stable situation in the country, Nursultan Nazarbayev said at the annual ceremony of granting presidential scholarships to cultural workers, Tengrinews.kz reports. “We are striving for equality, tolerance, friendship and trust among Kazakhstan people. Our main achievement is that we are all building Kazakhstan. We have to develop our country, explain to the young people that there are people who envy us and want everything to go not so well in Kazakhstan. Besides, the economy of the countries was thrown 10-15 years back after the revolutions,” the President said noting fascination of some young people with what is happening in Africa and Europe. Earlier cultural workers and awardees of the state scholarship asked Nazarbayev to abstain from retiring. The scholarship were awarded to around 100 culture and art leaders, including Bibigul Tulegenova, Yermek Serkebayev, Assanali Ashimov, Sherkhan Murtaza, Akim Tarazi, Fariza Ungarsynova, Meruert Utekesheva, Zamzagul Sharipova, Gulnar Dusmatova, Yuriy Aravin, Anatoliy Molodov, Kalikhan Yskhak, Nurtas Issabayev, Saken Imanassov, Tursynzhan Shapai, Yerkin Shukimanov, Nurtas Issabayev. Musician Amir Bissengaliyev, artist Yerbolat Kudaibergenov and others are among the young awardees.
