An agenda of the 10th anniversary summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Astana was approved in the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the SCO member-countries, Tengrinews.kz reports. According to Kazakhstan Foreign Affairs Minister Yerzhan Kazykhanov, the summit will focus on summaryizing the SCO activities of the past 10 years, defining directions for further development, and exchanging opinions on the international and regional issues. Several documents to be signed at the Astana summit were approved and signed at the meeting. The summit will be held in Astana on June 15. “Participants of this meeting spoke in favor of further increase of the SCO role in the world and regional political architecture. Everyone agreed on the need to continue multi-faceted and mutually beneficial cooperation under the SCO and to Strengthen its status of the powerful international organization,” said Kazykhanov summarizing results of the Council's meeting.
