Kazakhstan’s State Secretary meets US Assistant Secretary for South and Central Asian Affairs

Kazakhstan’s State Secretary Marat Tazhin has met US Assistant Secretary for South and Central Asian Affairs Robert O. Blake, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing President Nazarbayev’s website. “Mr. Blake pointed out that the recent years had been fruitful for development of the US-Kazakh cooperation in many realms. The interstate relations have reached a higher level”, the statement reads. In his turn, Mr. Tazhin pointed to the stable nature of the strategic cooperation in foreign policy realm, dynamic development of the bilateral ties in economic and humanitarian spheres. The parties also dwelt on a number of important issues targeted at further strengthening the US-Kazakh cooperation. A special emphasis has been placed on support to stable development of Central Asia.
