Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev doesn’t rule out amendments into the nation’s Constitution in the course of time, Intefax-Kazakhstan reports, citing President Nazarbayev as saying August 30, the nation’s Constitution Day. “The Constitution isn’t something stiff; on the contrary, it is a live evolving law which can be amended, much more so given the rapidly changing world”, President said when speaking at an international conference celebrating the Constitution. “Through economic changes we are moving towards changes in the social and political structure (…) Everything is set to change in the 21st century. Kazakhstan should evolve alongside the changing world. And the changes should be covered by the nation’s legislation”, he said.
