The President of Kazakhstan discussed further cooperation with the United Arab Emirates government, Tengrinews.kz reports citing press-service of the Kazakh leader. Nursultan Nazarbayev met with UAE’s Deputy Prime-Minister, Minister for Presidential Affairs, Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan on February 10.
During the conversation they discussed development and further consolidation of bilateral cooperation in political, trade, economic and investment fields. The President of Kazakhstan remarked on the progress in implementation of the project of multifaceted residential complex Abu-Dhabi Plaza in Astana, the presidential press-service reported.
Both sides underlined effective operation of the first Islamic bank Al-Khilyal in the post-Soviet space and launch of a joint investment fund Al-Falah.
Nursultan Nazarbayev arrived to the UAE with the short work visit on February 9.
