Kazakhstan supported acknowledgment of Palestine, Tengrinews.kz citing Nursultan Nazarbayev as saying at the 66th session of the UN General Assembly. “A complicated Palestinian problem is being actively discussed these days. Kazakhstan supports creation of the Palestinian state. This is a very difficult issue on the Scales of History. U.S. President Barack Obama has talked about it here. The negotiation process of the Palestinian people, who have long been suffering, same as the Israeli people, has lasted for over 50 years. It is impossible to achieve stable peace in the Middle East without acknowledging independence of Palestine,” Kazakhstan President said on September 21 in New York.
