The President of Israel was presented with Kazakhstan’s key achievements in total digitalization and the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies in key sectors of the economy and social sphere.

The heads of state were also shown the Astana Smart City project — a large-scale initiative to create next-generation intelligent urban infrastructure.

It should be noted that on April 27, a welcoming ceremony for Israeli President Isaac Herzog, who arrived in Kazakhstan on an official visit, was held in Astana. On the same day, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Isaac Herzog held a meeting in a narrow format. During the talks, the President of Kazakhstan noted that significant results have been achieved in bilateral cooperation, primarily in the economy, as well as in politics.

Isaac Herzog expressed satisfaction with the steady development of cooperation between Kazakhstan and Israel. He also welcomed Kazakhstan’s decision to join the Abraham Accords and participate in the work of the Peace Council.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Isaac Herzog also held extended talks in Astana with the participation of official delegations. During the meeting, the President of Kazakhstan stated that the Abraham Accords create a foundation for regional stability and the development of trade and economic ties, and also announced readiness to hold the official accession ceremony in Astana.
