Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of Kazakhstan, has signed a decree releasing Marat Tazhin from his position of the Kazakhstan Secretary of State, Tengrinews reports citing the presidential press-service. "Marat Tazhin is herewith relieved of his position of the Kazakhstan Secretary of State for transfer to another position," the message says. According to the presidential decree, Head of the Kazakhstan Presidential Administration Karim Massimov will temporally take over the duties of the Secretary of State. Marat Tazhin used to chair the State Anti-Corruption Commission at different points in his career. He also сhaired the National Security Commission and served as Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan. He used to be President's Aide for National Security and Secretary of Kazakhstan’s Security Council.
