Kazakhstan ready to rent out lands to foreign companies: President Nazarbayev Marat Abilov©

Kazakhstan is ready to rent out lands to foreign companies widely employing new technology, President Nazarbayev said in his Address to the Nation today. “Land plots might be rented out to companies willing to implement new technology, raise labor efficiency, introduce best practices (…) Lands for agricultural purposes can only be rented out to companies ready to invest, employ advanced technology and intensify competition (…) Kazakhstan can benefit from foreign companies to rent it lands to produce best samples of agricultural products”, President said. “The global demand for food is on the rise; this sector is requiring more and more investments. Today’s farmers working in Kazakhstan’s lands should work on boosting production in the longer run, rather than be content with short-term achievements that primarily depend on weather conditions”, he said.
