Kazakhstan ranked 5th in Change Readiness Index Map of Kazakhstan

KPMG audit company has ranked Kazakhstan #5 in the Change Readiness Index, Kazakhstan Prime-Minister Karim Massimov wrote in his Twitter. Chile was ranked first among the countries able to use the opportunities of the changing global economy. Tunisia, Taiwan and Jordan were ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th, correspondingly. KPMG reviewed the long-term potential of 60 developing markets. China, Russia, Brazil, India and other countries with major economies were rated much lower than Kazakhstan. The experts analyzed economic diversification, corruption, entrepreneurship, relations between business and authorities, health of the civil society and investment climate. According to KAZENERGY, the idea of the Change Readiness Index was first raised at the World Economic Forum in Davos in 2011.
