Kazakhstan Prime-Minister Serik Akhmetov met with German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin on October 25, Prime-Minister’s press-service writes. Akhmetov passed Merkel best wishes and congratulations from Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev. Prime-Minister stressed that Germany was a reliable investment partner of Kazakhstan and expressed hope for further successful cooperation. German Chancellor passed Kazakhstan President Nazarbayev her thanks for warm wishes and spoke highly of the level of interaction between the two countries. Besides, Akhmetov met with Vice-Chancellor and Minister of Economy and Technologies Philipp Rösler. As part of his working visit to Germany Kazakhstan Prime-Minister took part in an official event timed to the 60th anniversary of the Eastern Committee of German economy.
