Kazakhstan President discussed world's political situation with ex-president of Germany

Kazakhstan President discussed the political situation in the world with former German President, Tengrinews.kz reports citing Nursultan Nazarbayev’s press-service. Nursultan Nazarbayev met with ex-president of Germany Horst Köhler on the sidelines of the 5th Astana Economic Forum on May 23. “During the meeting the presidents discussed the agenda of the Forum, global and regional economy and exchanged their opinions on the current political situation in the world,” Kazakhstan President’s official website writes. Germany is one of the leading trade partners of Kazakhstan. The volume of mutual trade made over $3 billion in 2010. Last year this value grew 2.8 percent up and made $3.7 billion. Nursultan Nazarbayev suggested to open an international prognostics institute and also talked about the harm of sweet loans and Kazakhstan’s crisis immunity. Besides, Nursultan Nazarbayev compared saving global economy with dollars to firefighting with petrol.
