Management of national teams and sport reserves of Kazakhstan Sports and Physical Culture Agency expressed an official protest note to the organization commission of the International Shooting Tournament in Kuwait, Sports.kz writes. The official protest was submitted by Kazakhstan's chief shooting coach of Kazakhstan Galina Korchma and the head coach of Kazakhstan national team Anvar Yunusmetov. Earlier Tengrinews.kz English reported that the organizers turned on the 'anthem' from Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan movie instead of Kazakhstan anthem during a recent shooting tournament in Kuwait. During the ceremony of awarding Kazakhstan sportswoman Maria Dmitriyenko with golden medals the organizers turned on the mockery song that spoke about 'pure Kazakh prostitutes' and 'Uzbek knuckle-heads' lyrics. Later the organizers offered their apologies to Kazakhstan sports delegation and the ceremony was repeated with the real Kazakhstan anthem. Kazakhstan Foreign Ministry is currently investigating the details of the incident.
