Kazakhstan makes diplomatic changes

Tengrinews.kz - Ambassador of Kazakhstan Alimkhan Yessengeldiyev has been relieved of his duties in Afghanistan, while Yerkin Akhinzhanov has been appointed as the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the United Republic of Tanzania, according to a statement from the Akorda press service.

Tengrinews.kz - Ambassador of Kazakhstan Alimkhan Yessengeldiyev has been relieved of his duties in Afghanistan, while Yerkin Akhinzhanov has been appointed as the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the United Republic of Tanzania, according to a statement from the Akorda press service.

"By the decree of the Head of State, Alimkhan Yessengeldiyev has been relieved of his position as Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan," the official statement reads.

In turn, by the decree of the Head of State, Yerkin Akhinzhanov, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Republic of South Africa, has been appointed as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the United Republic of Tanzania and the Republic of Mozambique concurrently.

Earlier, Former Director of the Europe Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Olzhas Suleimenov, has been appointed as the Ambassador to Sweden, according to a statement from Akorda.
