Kazakhstan has chances to host winter Olympics: Prince of Monaco

Prince of Monaco Albert II believes that Kazakhstan has enough potential to host the Olympics, Interfax-Kazakhstan writes.“As for the Olympic prospects of Kazakhstan, I can say that judging from what I’ve already seen, there are good prospects,” he told the journalists in Astana.“I know that you have already hosted winter Asian Games and I will probably see something else in Almaty. I think this could be a potential enough to host winter Olympics,” he said.During his visit to Kazakhstan Prince of Monaco toured several facilities in Astana that impressed him a lot, according to him. “I was quite stunned by Astana’s architecture. I am still impressed by the Palace of Peace and Accord. Today I had a pleasure to visit a very beautiful mall and two big and very interesting sport facilities: an ice palace and a cycling track,” he said.
